Why do I use Hypnosis and Guided Imagery to help my clients?
As a first responder I have experienced a lot of things that most people should not have to. We cant "un-experience", so we either compartmentalize or find ways to self-sooth. If your soothing has become unhealthy (over eating, drinking, gambling, excessive shopping) it is time to break free.
I have learned some of my greatest lessons from the things that I have been involved in. With hypnosis and guided imagery, the memories and the lessons learned will remain, and you will be free from the emotional baggage.
How does hypnosis work?
Hypnosis helps cut through the brain chatter to find your most productive "you".
During your appointment, we will discuss the things that are keeping you from living your best life and discover what you want your future to look like.
We will move into the hypnosis or guided imagery session depending on what is decided between the two of us.
Common questions people have regarding hypnosis are with their apprehension that they will either do something embarrassing or something they wouldn't normally do.
Hypnosis can't make you do something you morally object to. I am not interested in parlor games. Your emotional health is too important to me.
The central nervous system allows us to choose which muscles we move while the autonomic nervous system keeps the vital functions of our body ticking without any thought needed.
Much like the nervous system, Hypnosis is an effective way to keep the conscious mind busy so that the unconscious mind can work automatically to heal the body.
